• Aspects of Britain is a series of A5
paperbacks that covers in depth Britain’s
political, economic and social structure,
and its place in the international
community. Some titles are extended
versions of the chapters in the Britain
Handbook, but most are completely new
texts. Titles that offer significantly more
information than is given in the
Handbook have been indicated in a
footnote in the relevant chapter. A full
list of titles in the series appears at the
back of the Handbook.
Details on how to obtain these
publications are also given at the back of the
Handbook.
Acknowledgments

They are: 'Britain: An official handbook' (1954-1998), 'Britain: The official yearbook of the United Kingdom' (1999-2001), and 'UK: The official yearbook of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland' (2002-2005). These 50 reports provide an overview of Britain's economic, social and cultural affairs, its environment, international relations, and the systems of government. They give an impartial summary of government policies and initiatives, and explain how public services are organised.
