| Description | 'End of the War' by Private J. Brooks, 2nd London Scottish. The cartoon is read from top to bottom and from left to right and has been numbered. It shows two soldiers ill in bed, one of whom is reading about the progress of the war. The other is not interested. This results in his speedy recovery, while the newspaper reader gets fed up - illustrated by his throwing his boot. |
