DescriptionCartoon by George S. Dixon, "after Chalky". This cartoon shows a wounded soldier of small stature speaking with a tall woman on the subject of how he came by his injuries. The caption reads: 'Sylvia (sympathetically): "AND HOW WERE YOU WOUNDED?" / Tommy: "I WAS HIT BY A HIGH EXPLOSIVE." / Sylvia: "GOOD GRACIOUS, HOWEVER COULD THAT HAPPEN? YOU'RE NOT IN THE LEAST TALL."' As with so many cartoons from 'Blighty' magazine, the humour of this cartoon revolves around a woman's incorrect interpretation of some military term.
