In previous proclamations, Nos. 3017, 3028, q.v., times
have been fixed for sending in accounts of arrears due.
The time is now prolonged to 15 March next. Accounts
must show when they were furnished, on what company,
and all the articles due by each regiment in a paragraph by
itself, those on the English establishment to be dealt with
separately. All accounts when passed will be met by
precepts on the shires, burghs, &c., to be paid out of the
tack-duty of the pole-money. The English establishment
debts to be discharged otherwise. These to be proclaimed
and printed.

By several Acts and proclamations, Nos. 3004, q.v., the
import of salt beef from Ireland is forbidden. After 1 March
none is to be imported for consumption in Scotland, and
none for re-export shall be landed, on pain of confiscation.
These to be proclaimed.

All deserters who are sent back to Flanders from other
regiments are pardoned. All others are to be severely
punished. No passes to soldiers to be given but by colonels,
except by field officers in the absence of their colonels.

Coyned in Ireland by the late King James, in 1689,

A quantity of base brass or copper coin, coined in Ireland
to pass for shillings, half-crowns, &c., have been imported
to pass for 6fZ. Scots pieces. The import of it is forbidden.
Any one having more than 1 lb. of it to be imprisoned as
a false coiner, smaller importers fined £20 Scots each time,
half to the informer. These to be proclaimed and printed.
