Quotes proclamation 16 Feb., No. 2591, q.v., and
22 March, No. 2598, q.v. All members are to attend the High
Commissioner at 8 a.m. in his riding up and down to the
Parliament House under pain of the fines set by Act 13 May
1662. Members of Parliament not decently dressed in foot-
mantles will be reputed absent. All commissions to be
handed in to the clerk the day before between 10 and 12
noon. This to be proclaimed.

All soldiers who owe any money for quarters are to pay
it forthwith. All officers to see that this is done. Com¬
missioners of supply at Michaelmas Courts annually to fix
prices for forage, &c., and this year before first Thursday of
May. Prices to be certified to Privy Council. These to be
proclaimed.

In view of conspiracies, the Merse, Teviotdale, Peebles, Sel¬
kirk, 3 Lothian, Edinburgh, Stirling, Fife and Kinross Militia
Regiments, the Earl of Perth's 4 companies of the Low
Countries, the Marquess of Athol's 3 Low Countiy Com¬
panies, the Sheriffs of Forfar and Kincardine, and all
heretors, &c., in Air, Renfrew, Clidsdale, Wigtoun, Dumfries
to be ready with arms and 14 days' provisions when ordered.
All persons between 16 and 60 in Aberdone, Bamff, Elgin,
Nairn, Inverness, Ross, Sutherland, and Caithness to be
ready. On any landing all persons to come together, and
seize the ship and ammunition. No one to help any rebels
or traitors. This to be proclaimed.
