Lent and the weekly fish-days, Wednesday, Friday, and
Saturday, are to be strictly observed—no flesh-meat being
killed or eaten—as before 1640. Fines: £10 first offence,
£20 second, £40 third, one-half to delators. These to be
proclaimed.

witches. No person is to seize a witch without legal war¬
rant, and when legally apprehended no torture is to be used

penalty for coming after roll-call. No strangers allowed
except heirs of Peers, College of Justice, Knight Marshal,
Ushers to the Lyon, Justice-deputs, King's Solicitor, one
servant of L. Chancellor, two of Constable, two of Marshal,
and one to Advocat. Arrangement of seats of each class.
Fine of 20s. sterling on any unauthorized person found in
the House.
Eules for order. All members to stay till the end of
business.

ing such Benefices and Stipends as have been
possessed without presentations from the lawfull
Patrons.

Ministers entered on benefices in or after 1649 are not to
have rents for this present year 1662 and their benefices are
vacant. If they can procure presentation and collation
before 20 September they are to retain them. Patrons to
