The King is at great charges for the benefit of religion,
and the following taxes have been granted: 30s. on every
pound land of old extent at Candlemas 1622, Martimes 1622,
Martimes 1623, and Martimes 1624. Money to be paid to
John, Earl of Mar. The magistrates, &c., in the sheriffdom
of [Abirdene] are to meet and arrange for the uplifting of this
sum. Per actiim ParUamenti.
