Roger and Mary: | Or, the loving Couple in a great Engagement, |
Rogers true love to his Mary
Did not in the least miscarry ;
He Souldier-Iike besieg'd and enter'd,
And had the prize for which he ventur'd.
(these 4 lines in 2 cols, two and two.)

A New Ballad, |
To the Tune of King John, and the Abbot of Canterbury. [
[Burden] Derry down, &c.
[No imprint, but about 1719.]
2 cols., 20 verses. R.L.
A political ballad referring to George I. He appointed Regents other than the Prince
of Wales to his discomfort. " Kenny " mentioned in verse i was the Duchess of Munster
and Kendal. The king sailed for Hanover on the nth May, 1719.

If you'l take my advice,
this I would have you do,
