Privy Councillors to send in their addresses before the
31st October.
13 October. By the Privy Council. Vessels from ports
between the Skaw and Rotterdam, from Danish territories
outside the Baltic, or from ports on the Weser, to perform
quarantine.
19 October. By the Privy Council. For dividing the
parish of St. Luke, Chelsea, into two distinct parishes.
19 October. By the Privy Council. For assigning a
district to the chapel at Kirkstall, in the parish of Leeds.
20 October. His Majesty's Speech proroguing Parlia¬
ment to the 22nd November.
20 October. By the Privy Council. Regulations passed
by the Board of Health for the purpose of preventing
the introduction and spreading of the Cholera Morbus.
20 October. By the Board of Health. An account of
the symptoms and treatment of the Cholera Morbus.
28 October. By the Privy Council. Republishing
Clause ig of the Act 6 George IV., cap. 78, which
provides for mariners shipwrecked from vessels liable to
quarantine.
2 November. For the suppression of riots and breaches
of the Peace, and calling upon persons of all ranks to
come forward and assist the civil authorities.
2 November. By the Privy Council. For a Special
Prayer to be used throughout England and Wales
during the continuance of the cholera pestilence.
The same, in Scotland.
14 November. By the Privy Council. For establishing
a central Board of Health to prepare and digest rules for
the speedy and effectual mode of guarding against the
spread of the cholera pestilence.
21 November. Parliament further prorogued from the
22nd November to the 6th December, and then to
assemble.
21 November. Proclaiming all voluntary associations
under the denomination of Political Unions to be
unconstitutional and illegal.
21 November. By the Privy Council. Empowering
Justices of the Peace to isolate all persons infected with
spasmodic cholera.

ment of Boards of Health in every city, town or place to
which Orders shall be transmitted by the Privy Council,
and requiring the medical practitioners of such places to
make daily returns.

exportation of certain provisions "duty free," into the
Islands of Barbadoes and St. Vincent, until the ist
January 1832.

21 November. By the Privy Coimcil. Austrian vessels
trading to and from the British Possessions to enjoy the
same privileges as British vessels.
[21 November,] For the establishment of Boards of
Health in such cities, towns, and places as ordered by
the Privy Council, and directing all medical practitioners
in such places to make a daily report to the Board.
28 November. By the Privy Council. That all vessels
from Sunderland, Seaham, Newcastle, etc., and all boats
having held communication with them to be subject to
quarantine.
6 December. His Majesty's Speech at the opening of
the new session of Parliament.
30 December. By the Earl of Belmore, Captain-General
and Governor-i7i-Chief of Jamaica and its Dependencies.
Proclaiming Martial Law, and calling upon all troops to
repair to their respective posts and hold themselves in
readiness. [Given at Saint Jago de la Vega.]
1832.
2 January. By Major-General Willoughby Cotton,
Commanding H.M. Forces. To the rebellious slaves :
Calling upon the slaves in arms to surrender themselves,
and declaring the rumours of the King's Emancipation
to be groundless. [From Head Quarters, Montego Bay,
St. James (Jamaica).]
3 January. By the Earl of Belmore, Captain-General
and Governor-in-Chief of Jamaica and its Dependencies.
Offering a reward of 300 dollars for certain slaves who
were amongst the ringleaders in the recent disturbances.

6 February. For a general fast in England and Ireland
(21st March), to beseech God to remove the grievous
disease [cholera].
The same, in Scotland (22nd March).
6 February. By the Privy Council. Instructing the
Archbishop of Canterbury to prepare a Form of Prayer
to be used during the continuance of the cholera, in lieu
of that ordered the 2nd November 1831.
6 February. By the Privy Council. For a Special
Prayer to be offered up throughout Scotland during
the continuance of the cholera, in lieu of that ordered
the 2nd November 1831.
6 February. By the Lord Lieutenant and Council of
Ireland. Declaring the baronies of Ikerrin, Eliogurty,
Isleagh, Kilnelogarty, Kilnemanagh, Slievarda, Compsey,
Middlethird, and Clanwilliam to be in a state of dis¬
turbance, and to require an extraordinary Establishment
of Police.

Ireland. Declaring several Townlands in the baronies
of Fassaghdining, co. Kilkenny, of Slewmargy, Ballya-
dams, Stradbally, and Cullenagh, Queen's County, to be
in a state of disturbance, and to require an extraordinary
Establishment of Police.
