12 August. By the Privy Council. For making the
necessary alterations in the Liturgy, in consequence of
the birth of a Prince [George of Wales].
19 August. By the Lords Justices of Ireland. The Irish
Parliament further prorogued from the 24th August to
the 26th April next.
1 September. Parliament further prorogued from the
9th September to the 9th November, and then to
assemble.
17 September. By the Privy Council. For altering the
Prayers for the Royal Family, so as to include " Prince
George of Wales."
17 September. For continuing the officers not already
removed or discharged in England, etc., for a further
period of four months.

17 September. By the Privy Co2mcil. Parliament
further prorogued from the 9th to nth November.
17 September. By the Privy Council. Extending the
time for payment of the Bounties offered in Order of
2nd April, until the 30th November.
17 September. By the Privy Council. Continuing the
prohibition to export gunpowder, arms, etc., for six
months from the 29th October.

prorogued from the 9th to the 25th November, and not
to the nth as ordered on the 17th September.

embargo from vessels lading or laden in Ports of Great
Britain and Ireland.
17 November. By the Privy Council. Discontinuing
the Bounties offered in Proclamation of the 2nd February,
and Order of the 2nd April, and continued by Order of
the 17th September.
25 November. His Majesty's Speech at the opening of
the new session of Parliament.
26 November. Declaring the Cessation of Arms,
agreed upon between his Majesty and the Kings of
France and Spain, and enjoining the observance thereof.
26 November. By the Privy Council. As to the issue
of passes for the safety and convenience of commerce
during the Cessation of Arms.
29 December. By the Privy Council. Prohibiting
intercourse with the rebels of Corsica, at present in
rebellion against the Republic of Genoa.

10 January. Peers of Scotland to meet on the 8th
March, and elect a representative in place of the
Marquess of Tweeddale (deceased).

on Tuesday the 22nd inst.
21 March. Proclaiming the conclusion of a Treaty
between his Majesty and the Kings of France and Spain.

claiming the conclusion of a Treaty of Peace with France
and Spain.
30 March. For a Public Thanksgiving in England and
Wales (5th May), that Peace is restored.

19 ApriL His Majesty's Speech proroguing Parliament
to the 23rd June.
22 April. By the Lords Justices of Ireland. Against
the persons who broke open the gaol of Carrickfergus,
and set at liberty William Martin, and Robert Gullioghan,
prisoners there confined under sentence of death.
