called to meet on the 17th May be prorogued to the 2nd
July, and Convocation to the 3rd July.
16 May. All officers of regiments in Germany to join
their corps without delay.
25 June. By the Lords Justices of Ireland. The Irish
Parliament to be further prorogued from the 23rd June
to the 25th August.
25 June. By the Privy Cojincil. Parliament further
prorogued from the 2nd July to the 3rd September, and
Convocation to the 4th September.
25 June. Peers of Scotland to meet on the 12th August,
and elect a representative in place of the Earl of Home
(deceased).
25 June. Declaring his Majesty's pleasure for con¬
tinuing officers not already removed or discharged in

of his resolution to demand the hand of the Princess
Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz in marriage.
8 July. By the Privy Council. Appointing the 22nd
September for solemnising the Coronation of his
Majesty ; the Court of Claims to meet on the 21st July.
8 July. Declaring his Majesty's pleasure touching his
Royal Coronation, and the solemnity thereof.

22 July. Recalling and prohibiting seamen from
serving foreign Princes and States, and for giving
encouragement to seamen and able-bodied landmen to
enter themselves on board his Majesty's ships of war.
5 August. By the Lords Justices of Ireland. The Irish
Parliament further prorogued from the 25th August to
the 22nd October.
20 AugfUSt. By the Privy Council. That no fires or
naked lights be used under the scaffolding in West¬
minster Hall, on the occasion of the Coronation.
28 August. By the Privy Council. Parliament further
prorogued from the 3rd September to the 8th October,
and Convocation to the 9th October.
3 September. By the Earl Marshal. That no bonfires,
fireworks, etc., be played off in any part of Westminster
until seven days after the Coronation.
11 September. By the Privy Council. For making
the necessary alterations in the Liturgy, in consequence
of the King's marriage.

the time for payment of the Bounties offered in
Proclamation of the 22nd July, until the 31st October.
I 11 September. Declaring his Majesty's pleasure
touching his Royal Coronation and the Coronation of
his Royal Consort, the Queen.

hackney coaches and chairmen from charging exorbitant
rates on the day of the Coronation.
14 September. By the Earl Marshal. As to the
delivery of tickets for admission to the Coronation.

further prorogued from the 8th October to the 3rd
November, and Convocation to the 6th November.
24 September. Parliament further prorogued from the
8th October to the 3rd November, and then to assemble.
12 October. Declaring his Majesty's pleasure for
continuing officers not already removed or discharged in
England, Ireland, etc., for a further period of four
months from date.
