The Reformation of the Calendar came into
force on the 1st of January, 1752, pursuant
to the Statute 24 George II. cap. 23, which
provided that the commencement of the
year 1752 was to be on the 1st of January
following the 31st of December, 1751.

to the 4th June.
30 March. By the Privy Council. Appointing Lords
Justices to administer the government during his
Majesty's absence.
