furnish assistance to any of the inhabitants of Corsica
now in rebellion against the Republic of Genoa.

covering and apprehending the persons who broke open
the house of Lady Margaret Crosbie at Ballyheige,
CO. Kerry, and took thereout twelve chests of silver
belonging to the Danish East India Company.

18 December. For apprehending the two footpads who
robbed and murdered Thomas Wylde, an Exciseman, at
Kintbury, on the loth November.

the new session of Parliament.
1 February. For apprehending the persons who sent
a letter to Sir Philip Yorke, Attorney-General, threaten¬
ing to burn his house and take his life. ^500 reward.
2 February. By the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. For
apprehending the persons who feloniously took out of
his Majesty's Custom House at Kinsale 150 pieces of
camlet.

Speech proroguing the Irish Parliament to the i8th

preventing the illegal exportation of wool, worsted bay,

Tories, robbers, etc.

3 April. For apprehending the persons who on the
27th March attacked the Surveyor and eleven Officers of
Customs at Deal, killing one of the number, whilst
endeavouring to prevent the running of a quantity of
goods landed in St. Margaret's Bay. ;^50 reward for
each.
8 April. By the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. The Irish
Parliament further prorogued from the i8th April to the
2ist December.
4 May. By the Privy Council. Declaring void the
Letters Patent granted to Robert Hamblin, for the new-
invention for distinguishing of lights for the guidance of
shipping.
1 June. His Majesty's Speech proroguing Parliament
to the 27th July.
2 June. By the Privy Council. Appointing the Queen
to be Regent and Guardian of the Realm during his
Majesty's absence.
Note.—4 June. The King left England for Holland
and Hanover.

Prohibiting trade to the East Indies contrary to the
liberties and privileges granted to the English East India
Company, and from being concerned in any foreign
company or society trading to the East Indies.
21 July. By the Privy Council. Parliament further
prorogued from the 27th July to the 9th October.
Note.—26 September. The King returned from
Hanover.
28 September. By the Privy Council. Parliament
further prorogued from the 9th October to the 5th
December.
11 October. By the Lords Justices of Ireland. For
apprehending the several persons named, for rescuing
eighty anchors of brandy seized by the officers of his
Majesty's Revenue at Beerhaven, co. Cork.
