19 January. By the Lords Justices of Ireland. Offering
a reward of ;^io,ooo for taking James Butler, late Duke
of Ormond, dead or alive, if he should attempt to land
in the Kingdom.

29 January. For apprehending any of the disorderly
persons who have killed and carried away loo deer,
pulled down palings, and committed other outrages in
Farnham Park. ;^ioo reward.
11 February. For apprehending the persons who set
on fire J. Bidagood's house, stable and barn, at Taunton,
on the i6th January. ;^5o reward.
12 February. For apprehending the two men who
broke into the house of the rector of Hovington, and
barbarously used his son. 20 guineas reward.
6 March. By the Lords Justices of Ireland. For re¬
calling all licences granted to Papists for carrying arms,
and against Popish priests.

10 March. His Majesty's Speech to Parliament, in¬
forming the house that from advice received, an attempt
is to be made to invade the Kingdom by the King of
Spain on behalf of the Pretender.
15 MARCH 1718-19.
15 March. For apprehending James Butler, late Duke
of Ormond, and others attained of high treason on
account of the late Rebellion. ;^5,ooo reward for the
Duke, ;;^i,ooo for any other Peer, and ;^5oo for every
gentleman.

7 May. All officers belonging to Colonel Phillip's regi¬
ment of foot in the garrisons of Annapolis Royal and
Placentia to repair to their posts within twenty days.
9 May. Appointing Lords Justices to administer the
government during his Majesty's absence.

22 May. By the Lords Jjistices of England, Requiring
all officers of land forces absent from duty to repair at
once to their respective posts.

pressing riots, and dispersing disorderly assemblies.

Tories, robbers, etc.
