30 June. Letter from his Grace the Duke of Marl-
borough by his Majesty's command, to the Secretary of
War, signifying his Majesty's pleasure that in the future
all commissions falling vacant shall be filled with half-
pay officers in order of seniority.
20 July. His Majesty's Speech to both Houses of
Parliament as to the suppression of the Rebellion at j
home and abroad.

shall be found in the hands of Papists.
