ception of sales nos. 34 and 257, and most of the catalogues have
the prices affixed. Nos. 1-77 measure 8J inches and the remainder
6J-7 inches, with the exception of no. 257, which is folio 15J
inches. Nos. 1-11, 252 and 257 bear no numbers ; nos. 78 and
89 are wrongly numbered "77" and " 98," respectively; and
101, 102, and 100 and 110, are wrongly numbered "101st sale"
and " 109th sale," respectively. Commencing with sales " 55, 56,
57 and 58 " each day is reckoned as one sale. No. 257 consists
of the private auction sale of Dealers' Stalls for the International
Philatelic Exhibition held in London in May, 1906. The sale
took place on February 23, 1906, and the catalogue is bound up
in the volume lettered "London Philatelic Exhibition, 1906".
