*^* First edition. Printed with the same types as were used in
the same year by Alopa for the Scholia to Apolloniiis Bhodius,
and probably therefore from his press. The addition of a title-
page by Giuuta who appears to have had copies of the Lucian in
stock and prefixed them to his edition of Philostratus of 1517,
has given rise to the belief that Giunta was the printer of the
Lucian. But this bears no resemblance to the characters of
Giunta, whereas its identity with the types, both large and small,
of Alopa has been established by a long and critical examination.
