Transcript of letter from W Burke, March 1915

Letter from Cyclist's Touring Club Secretary W Burke, from the club's premises in London, to John Bartholomew & Son, dated 29 March 1915:

Gentlemen

Can you let me have office copies of sheets 7 and 10, half inch, England. One of our Chief Consuls, who has been severely hit by the war, has very little to do at present, and informs me that he has been making a lot of notes as to the condition of the roads which appear on the two sheets mentioned. If you could let us have uncoloured copies, that would be better still, for he informs me that some new roads have been made since the last edition, but if you do not care to send plain sheets, the coloured ones will be welcomed.

Yours faithfully
W Burke
Secretary
