Case A & B: bas-relief with stitcher’s wire and glance over with leather.

Case A: grey handmade paper. Case B: garnet yellow brocade.

As the book tells the history of Jesus, cover A symbolizes his life and cover B his death. The use of materials reminds us of the cross (wood) and the nails (sticher’s wire).
