T o the proper Officer of the Fishery at
{Place.)
Having completely cured dried (Number) of
Cod, Ling, and Hake, and having also com¬
pletely cured in Pickle (Number) Barrels of
Cod, Ling, and Hake, taken or purchased by
the Crew of the Vessel called the (Name) of
(Port) whereof (Name) is Master, of the bur¬
then of (No.) Tons, licensed by the proper
Officer of the Fishery at (Place,) to be employ¬
ed in the Cod and Ling Fishery on the Ton¬
nage Bounty in the Open Sea, under the Re¬
gulations prescribed by the Commissioners for
the Herring Fishery, (Date here,) I request you
will on the (Day of Month) Day of (Month)
18 , at (Hour) o’Clock, attend to inspect,
mark, and brand the same at (Place,) for the
Bounty of Fifty Shillings per Ton, granted by
the Act 1 Geo. IV. Cap. 103.
Dated at (Place) the (Day of Month) Day of
(Month) 18
I (Name and Designation) do make Oath, that
the Cod, Ling, and Hake above mentioned,
now produced to the proper Officer of the
Fishery at (Place,) were all, and every one of
them, taken or purchased and cured by the
Crew of the said Vessel called the (Name) of
(Port) whereof (Name) was Master, during her
Voyage
