ST KecT. II.] HYMNS.
■ ! No music’s like thy charming name.
Nor half so sweet can be.
j2 O let us ever hear thy voice,
To us in mercy speak.
And in our Priest we will rejoice,
| The great TMelchisedec!
(3 Our Jesus shall be still our theme.
While in this world we stay;
jj We’ll sing our Jesu’s blessed name
r When all things else decay,
il When we appear in yonder cjoud,
; With all thy favour’d throng,
i Then will we sing more sweet, more loud,
I And Christ shall be our song.
324.
The same.
1 O FOR a thousand tongues, to sing
||- Vy My dear Redeemer s praise !
1 The glories of my God and King,
f The triumphs of his grace.
2 My gracious Saviour, and my God,
Assist me to proclaim,
I To spread, through all the earth abroad,
. . The honours of thy name.
3 Jesus, the name that charms our fears,
That bids our sorrows cease ;
’Tis music in the sinner’s ears,
’Tis life, and health, and peace,
i 4 He breaks the pow’r of cancell’d sin.
He sets the pris’ners free :
His blood can make the foulest clean,
; . His blood avails for me.
