HYMNS.
Shouting with heart and voice,
Worthy the Lamb.
4 What tho’ we change our place,
Yet we shall never cease
Praising his name ;
To him our songs we bring.
Hail him our gracious King,
And without ceasing sing.
Worthy the Lamb.
5 Then let the hosts above,
In realms of endless love.
Praise his great name :
To him ascribed be
Honour and majesty,
Thrc ' " eternity;
y the Lamb.
162.
Life of the Soul. John xiv. 19.
1 WT'HEN sins and fears prevailing rise,
j ’ ’ And fainting hope almost expires;
f Jesus, to thee I lift mine eyes,
i To thee I breathe my soul’s desires.
k Art thou not mine, my living Lord ?
j And can my hope, my comfort die,
’ Fix’d on thy everlasting word,
' That word which built the earth and sky ?
i3 If my immortal Saviour lives,
■ Then my immortal life is sure ;
His word a firm foundation gives.
Here, let me build and rest secure.
: 4 Here, let my faith unshaken dwell.
Immoveable the promise stands;
£ Nor all the pow’rs of earth, or hell,
# Can e’er dissolve the sacred bands.
