from whom all his fuccefjors were called Impera-

Vigor under Auguftus; he is reckoned by Jome the
Firfi of the Roman Emperors* after whom the
following Emperors were called AngalW, that is Ho¬
nourable or Sacred j a Name of Reverence and

faicl to be Auguftiffima he was called O&avius
