MONDAY MORNING.

Mo. 17.
LORD, our God, most gracious and merciful. Our
fathers trusted in Thee, they trusted aud Thou
didst deliver them. They cried unto Thee, and were
delivered: they trusted in Thee and were not confounded.
Thou didst not hide Thy face from them, but when they
cried unto Thee, Thou didst hear and answer. Blessed
be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of our
supplications.
Once more, 0 Lord, do avc assemble to present our
prayers unto Thee, and to adore Thine infinite perfec¬
tions manifested to us in Jesus Christ our Lord. Give
ear unto us, 0 Thou that hearest prayer! Hearken
unto the voice of our cry, our King and our God,
for unto Thee will we pray. O send out Thy light
and Thy truth, let them lead us; let them bring us to
Thy holy hill and to Thy tabernacles. We would wor¬
ship and bow down before the Lord our Maker. For
Thou art our God, and we are the people of Thy pasture,
and the sheep of Thy hand. Blessed be the God and
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us
with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.
By Him would we ofi'er the sacrifice of praise unto God
continually, giving thanks to His name.
Our prayers and praises are unworthy, 0 Lord, of Thy
notice. Do Thou accept them in the name of Jesus.
We thank Thee that Thou hast sent Thy son into the
world not to condemn the world, but that the world
through Him might be saved. We bless Thee for that
faithful saying, worthy of all acceptation, that Christ
Jesus came into the world to save sinners. Enable all in
Thy presence to cleave closely to the Lord. May the
heavy laden go to Him for rest. May those who sit in
