Saturday: Solo Fiddle and Fiddle Groups, 50p; Juvenile Piping, 50p; Senior Piping, £1.50.
Junior Section: Monday, 50p; Tuesday, 50p.
Senior Section: Wednesday forenoon, £1.00; Wednesday afternoon, £1.00; Wednesday evening,
£1.00. Thursday forenoon, £1.00; Thursday afternoon Choral, £1.00; Folk Group Competition,
50p; Drama, £1.50. Friday forenoon, Choral, £1.00; Friday afternoon, Choral, £1.00 and £1.00.
Admission free to all Oral, Clarsach, Piano and Accordion Competitions.
All admission prices include V.A.T.
NOTES FOR THE GUIDANCE OF COMPETITORS
1 Some Medals and Trophies will be presented at the end of competitions. In a few cases where
aggregate marks have to be checked presentation will be at a concert. Major prizes will also be
presented at evening concerts.
2 Prize money must be collected from the Treasurer’s Office as soon as possible after results are
announced. The Mod Office is located on the ground floor of Civic Centre.
3 First prizewinners in recitation of poetry, story-telling, instrumental and vocal competitions
are required to appear at the appropriate evening concert. Announcements regarding the
programme of each concert will be made during competition sessions.
4 Competitors are not allowed to consult books, manuscripts, or copies of music during
competitions.
