The Traditional Music and Song Association of Scotland
(TMSA) exists to promote our musical and song heritage. The TMSA
is a membership organisation, with nine branches across Scotland.
From organising festivals, concerts and workshops to producing
publications, the TMSA works at every level to promote
opportunities for people of all ages to experience Scottish
traditional music.
Thanks to Scottish Arts Council funding there is a national
office in Edinburgh, base for our National Organiser, which acts as a
central point of contact for queries from all over the UK and beyond.
Members receive a bi-monthly newsletter and discounts on TMSA
organised events.
The TMSA works in partnership with many other
organisations to promote traditional music and song. If you run a
festival remember to send us information for our annual calendar of
traditional music festivals in Scotland which is published in
December.
If you would like to know more about the work of the
organisation and how to become a member, please contact national
office at TMSA, 95-97 St Leonard's Street, Edinburgh EH8 9QY
