This is an account of John Logie Baird's demonstration of colour television in April 1938.

Transmissions by radio from Crystal Palace were shown on a large screen in the Dominion Theatre in London's Tottenham Court Road.

The article's author described the colour as 'exceedingly good and on the whole more pleasing to the eye than the latest colour films.'

Among the photographs published is one of the transmitters at Crystal Palace, with Baird in the shot. There is also a drawing of how television works.
