Colour sketch of two women, carrying covered baskets on their backs, walking towards each other. Possibly rear and front views of the same woman.

The artist, Elizabeth Fussell, toured through Fife, Perth, Angus and Stirlingshire in the summer of 1839. Although she recorded the various places she visited, the sketches are almost exclusively of people.
