Transcripts, from letter books, of the letters of James Robinson, the 'superintending factor' (normally based in Falmouth, Virginia) of a tobacco trading firm. The letters are addressed to the factors of the firm in Virginia, 1767-73, and to the firm's headquarters in Glasgow, 1772-7.
