[In spite of the title page's claims as to the 'impartiall labour and faithful study and diligence' of Wilson, the ms. is a version of the memoirs of Henry Guthry, Bishop of Dunkeld (1600?-1676), which circulated widely in manuscript before being published London 1702 (second edition Glasgow 1748).]
