The theatre of Scotish kings, by Alexander Garden, professor of philosophy. Together with miscellaneous poems, by John Lundie, professor of humanity in the University of Aberdeen.
Editor:
Edited by William B. D. D. Turnbull.
Contents:
The poems of Garden (Gardyne), advocate, are reprinted from editions published in Edinburgh in 1609 and 1709 respectively. The description of the author as 'professor of philosophy' in the latter is inaccurate. Lundie's poems (partly Latin) all or mainly date from the 1630s, and are taken from his ms. The three sections have separate paginations.
