The Oor Wullie website aims tae help primary pupils stairt lairnin Scots in a fun way using the popular DC Thomson character. All the activities hae been developed with primary teachers an hae been mapped tae the Curriculum fur Excellence. There's extra guidance on cross-curricular activities fur teachers using the site in the 'Teachers and parents' page.
Throughout the site pupils can learn Scots wirds, poems, sangs and listen tae Scots wirds with an English translation in the audio glossary. There's an online multiple choice quiz wi three levels an downloadable activity sheets tae print oot.
