To celebrate Darwin's 200th birthday and the 150th anniversary of John Murray publishing Darwin's 'On the Origin of Species', we will be hosting Darwin anniversary events for primary pupils and teachers.

Great Escapes

The Great Escapes online resource is a step-by-step guide to creating a Great Escape travel guide based on John Murray's 'Handbooks for Travellers'. It includes activities for teachers to use with interactive whiteboards, as well as downloadable lesson plans and activity sheets to print off. The resource has accompanying teachers' notes and curriculum links, with a gallery of Great Escapes created by pupils.
