Description	" ... Composed by Mr Charles King, in five parts, for the degree of Batchelour of Musick, perform’d at the Theatre in Oxford, on Friday the 11th of July, 1707". First line reads: Music soft charm of heav'n and earth. Presumably the music only is by King.

Topics range from courtship, crime, disasters and emigration to fashion, theatre, politics, laments sports and old age. Includes ballads on Scotland and Ireland. Part of the Crawford Collections on deposit from the Balcarres Heritage Trust.
