| Description | The London Lock Hospital was the first venereal disease clinic, being the most famous and first of the Lock Hospitals opening on January 31st 1747. A cure for a drunken husband - first line reads: You married women draw near awhile. The unfortunate lad - first line reads: As I was a walking down by the Lock Hospital. In two columns with an illustration above each. Two ballads. |
