Thecomparative of monosyllables is commonly like tlie genitive singular feminine, and is generally followed by na.
If the positive end in ach or each, the comparative is formed by adding e to the genitive singular feminine; as,

THE SUPERLATIVE DEGREE.
The superlative is like the comparative, and is followed by the preposition do or dhe, either simple, or compounded
with a pronoun.
Ro,fior, and sàr, put before an adjective, answer respectively to the English very, truly, exceedingly. They always
throw the adjective into the aspirated form; as, ro mhath, very good; fior mhath, truly good ; sàr mhath, exceeding good.
Comparatives and superlatives undergo no change in the termination.
