Je fais ici abstraction de la modification euphonique de la
première consonne, dont je parlerai plus tard. On tient telle-
ment, en général, à ce renversement, an singulier, pour faire
le pluriel , que lorsque le génitif se fait tout autrement, c est-
à-dire qu'au lieu de prendre une ou deux lettres de plus il
en perd une au génitif, le pluriel ne s'en forme pas moins
d'après le principe général de cette forme.
