A bh'aig crioch luchd na'n dun,
Chuireadh buileachadh t-fhabhair,
ITrrad fhailt ann do ghnuis,
'Sa bhiodh aig na fir ghfonaich,
Anam cuir sgillean ri criin.
Cha dean mo mhohdh na's aird thu,
'S cha'n eil thu 'n trasa na fheum,
'Sgaoil do bhuadhan am pàikeas,
'S cha'n eil thu 'n aire chuir an ceill,
Ach 'n*air their mi *n dan brònachs*
Do dhoine mor* air do dheigh,
Mur bi leithid ri inns' orr,
Cha bheag an aoir e dhoibh fein.
Gheibhar cron dha do sgaoilteachd,
O nach do chaomhuinn thu 'n corr,
Leis an fhear tha na ghlutair,
'Gu deanadh uipinn de dh'or,
Dli'iaras fois thoirt d'a anam,
'N*air chi e mar ris na's leoir,
'Se neach sin fein ris an canar,
Le Dia '* an tamadan raor."
