H. D. DICKIE, Esq. Manager. |. JOHN MOINET, Esq. Secretary.
GLASGOW BRANCH, No. 62, Saint Vincent-street;
DUBLIN BRANCH, No. 5, Dame-street ;
LONDON BRANCH, No. 27, Moorgate-street (about to be removed
to the premises recently purchased, No. 39, Lothbury).
NEW HATES FOR LIFE INSURANCE.
These Premiums have been adopted by the Directors after much consideration, with % view to suit
that large class of individuals who desire to secure a certain sum to their Representatives at the
smallest annual expense to themselves, as well as those whose immediate object is to afford security to
lenders, or otherwise to facilitate money arrangements. A. most favourable contrast with the Rates of
Mutual Assurance Societies will at once be perceived on reference to these Rates : — For example, a
person at the age of 30 may secure £1,200. to his family, however early his death may happen, by an
annual payment of £24. 19s., while the same Insurance in a Mutual Assurance Society would cost
£30. 13s., besides a large entrance fee. A certain annual return of Premium, amounting to £5. 14s.,
is thus secured, which, if disposed of by an additional Insurance, would secure a further sum of £275.,
making in all £1,475., at less expense than an Insurance of £1,200. would cost with a Matual Assu-
rance Company ; a consideration which, with many, will outweigh the expectation of future contingent
profits.
Parties desirous of sharing in the Profits of the Company, may do so by paying a higher rate on
the Mutual Principle, but free from all risk — the Capital of the Company being pledged to the Policy
Holders, while about 84 per cent, of the whole Profits belong to the Assured, and are periodically
divided among Policies of five years' standing and upwards.
Every facility given to effecting Insurances.
Loans granted on the security of the Company's Policies to the extent of their value.
Parties allowed to pass, in time of peace, from one part of Europe to another, without additional
Premium.
No Entrance Money charged.
Parties desirous of Investing Money, to receive an Immediate Annuity, will find the Rates
by this Company liberal.
FIRE DEPARTMENT.
Insurances are effected on Liberal Terms.
Farm Stock and Crop are Insured Free from Government Duty.
Damage occasioned by Lightning is made good.
