Copy of Chemical Report on Mr Thomas Fraser 1 s Whisky : —
" City Analyst's Laboratory,
138 Bath Street,
Glasgow, 6th December, 1889.
I have made a careful analysis of an average sample of about
1500 gallons of Mr Thomas Fraser's Whisky, taken by my assist-
ant from the Bonded Stores in Ayr, where it is lying, and, from
the result of my analysis, I am of opinion that it is a Pure
Whisky of good flavour, which has been matured in Sherry
Casks.
(Signed) John Claek, Ph. D., T.C.S., F.I.S,,
Public Analyst of the City of Glasgow, the Counties
of Lanark and Renfrew, and the Burghs of Ayr
and Kilmarnock."
