Was opened at Whitsunday 1802, and was united with the Paisley
Athenaeum in May 1848. By terms of union, shareholders in the
Library are admitted to the Athenaeum on paying 7s. 6d. additional
annually. Members of the Athenaeum may join the Library on pay-
ing 3s. additional. The terms for the Library alone are £1 Is. for a
share, and 10s. 6d. for annual subscriptions — readers not subscribers.
15s. yearly, and 8s. half yearly.
