POSTAL DIRECTORY— RATES.
of chargeable words does not exceed lOl); an
additional sum of od. being charged for every
additional 100 words or part of 100 words. In
calculating the charge, all the names and addresses
arw included ; but telegrams of this kind are not
accepted for America.
Telegrams may be sent from one place to another
abroad by post. If the telegram be intended for
delivery in the same country no charge for postage
is made, unless in the case of China aud Japan.
If intended for delivery in another country and
has to be forwarded over sea, a charge for postaare
is collected; and if the telearram is to be posted
as a registered letter a fee of 5d. is collected from
the sender.
