General Rules to be observed for Distances.
Not exceeding Two furlongs, . Os. 6d.
Three furlongs, . 9
Four furlongs, . 1
Five furlongs, . 1 3
Six furlongs, . 1 C
Seven furlongs, . 19
One mile, . 2
And so on, at the rate of 3d. for every furlong farther.
General Rules according io Tune.
tlire of a Chair for a whole day, viz. from ten in the morn-
ing till 12 at night, . . " . . 7s. 6d.
Hire for a week, . . . L.l, lis. Gd.
Hire for a forenoon, from 9 o'clock in the morning till 4
afternoon, . . . . . 3s. 6d.
Hire for an afternoon, from 4 o'clock till 12 at night, 4s. 6d.
Or by the agreement of parties. Every double lift of two
full-grown persons to pay double hire ; two children, or one
child under ten years of age, in a person's arms, always es-
cepted. I
Each lift from 12 o'clock at night to 2 in the morning to
be charged, over and above the fares, . . 6d.
And double hire after 2 o'clock in the mornina'.
