Crest. — The Globe surrounded by a Laurel wreath and surmounted by the Crowned Lion and
Crown with "Gibraltar" on a scroll. The Foul Anchor imposed on the wreath below the Globe.
Motto — "Per Mare Per Terram."
The King's CoLOtm. — The Union. In the centre the Foul Anchor with the Imperial Cjiiher interlaced
ensigned with the Imperial Crown and " Gibraltar " above ; in base the Globe surrounded by a Laurel
wreath. Motto — " Per Mare Per Terram."
The Regimental Colour. — Blue. In the centre the Foul Anchor interlaced with the Royal Cypher
" G.R. IV." ensigned with the Imperial Crown and " Gibraltar " above ; in base tlie Globe "surrounded
by a Laurel wreath. Motto — "Per Mare Per Terram. In the dexter canton the Union, in the
remaining three corners the Imperial Cypher.
Uniform.— Blue, Facings — Scarlet.

The complete series at the National Library of Scotland runs from August 1870 to June 1940, but does not include monthly lists for those months covered by quarterly lists. |
