Good Conduct Badge Pay at the rate of Id. a day for each badge awarded is payable to all
N.C. Officers, Musicians, Buglers, Gunners and Privates.
Sergeants permanently employed on shore receive lid. per diem in addition to above rates.
Paid Acting-Bombardiers, Musicians, Gunners, and Buglers, R.M.A., enlisted prior to 1st April,
1904, receive one farthing a day in addition to above rates.
An allowance is payable after 6 years' man's service when embarked as follows : —
Bombardiers, Gunners, Privates, Musicians, and Buglers, 3d. per diem.
Qr.-Mr Sergeants, Colour Sergeants, Sergeants, Bandmasters (N.C.O.s), Corporals and Band
Corporals, 4d. per diem.
Bandmasters (W.O.), 6d. per diem.
t After having been under training lor 6 months and having either completed their Recruit Infantry
Training attained the age of 19, whichever occurs first— previous to this the rates are 2d. a day less.
5 Previous to transfer to R.M.A. as Gunners 2nd Class.
* After passing Naval Gunnery.
ft Rising by 6d. a day after each three years of service.
