Note.— The Command Money to Captains of Flag Ships is in-
tended to cover the expense incurred by them when the Flag is
temporarily struck.
Commuted Allowance in lieu of Servants to the Captains Superin-
tendent at Sheerness and Pembroke, and the Captains of certain
stationary ships and establishments at home
Commuted Allowance in lieu of Servants to Captain holding an
appointment entitling him to two servants (at Admiralty discretion)
