1 Captain Arnold served in the Niger-Soudan Campaign in 1896-07 in command of a force (promoted to be
Captain, DSO.)
2 Captain F. C. Boehmer served in the Jowaki Afreedee Expedition in 1877-7S with the 51st King's Own Light
Infantry (Medal with Clasp). Served in the Afghan war of 1878-80, and was present at the attack and capture of
Ali Musjid (Medal with Clasp).
3 Captain John Erown served with the 17th Lancers throughout the Eastern campaign of 1S54-55, including the
affairs of Bulganak and M'Kenzie's Farm, battles of Alma, Balaklava (severely wounded and horse killed), and
Tchernaya, siege and fall of Sebastopol (Medal with three Clasps, and Turkish Medal). Served in the campaign
m Central India in 1858-59 and was present at the action of Burode (Medal). Was employed in Natal during the
Zulu war ir. 1879 (Medal). Served with the Nile Expedition in 1884-85 (Medal with Clasp, and Khedive's Star).
* Captain R. C. Cockerill served with the Burmese Expedition in 1888-89 (Medal with Clasp).
6 Captain W. N. M. Cooke served with the 2nd Battalion York and Lancaster Regiments in the Egyptian war
0fj882, and was present in the engagement at Tel-el-Mahuta (Medal, and Khedive's Star).
7 Captain R. J. H. Donglas served with the R.M. Battabon at the defence of Eupatoria in 1854, and with the R.M.
Brigade at the siege of Sebastopol in 1854-55 (Medal with Clasp, 5th Class cf the Medjidie and Turkish Medal).
Served on the China Expedition of 1857-59, including the blockade of the Canton river, storm and capture of the
city ; expedition to the North, and wounded at the attack on the forts at the Peiho (Medal with Clasp) .
8 Colonel Draffen served in the Baltic during the latter part of 1854 (Medal). Was at the blockade of Odessa,
andaiso before Sebastopol during the siege in 1855 (Medal with Clasp, and Turkish Medad).
s _ Captain N. D. Garrett served in the Indian Mutiny campaign (Medal).
10 Captain Heathorn served in the Turkish Contingent from its formation until the end of the Crimean war in the
Quarter Master General's Department, including six months at Kertch (4th Class of the Medjidie, and Turkish Medal) .
Served in the Indian Mutiny campaign, commanded the Mountain Train R.F.H. at Kotah, and accompanied the
assaulting Column with two howitzers at the fall of the town ; was afterwards in Colonel Parke's Flying Column,
and was present at the engagement at Oodeypore (mentioned in despatches, Medal with Clasp) .
11 Captain Jackson served with the Hazara Expedition in 1888 in command of No. 2 Battery 24th Brigade Royal
Artillery (mentioned in despatches, Medal with Clasp).
12 Captain C. Johnson served in the Soudan campaign in 1885 (Medal with Clasp, and Khedive's Star).
13 Captain Low served at the siege and capture of Lueknow in 1858 (Medal with Clasp).
14 Major M' Jarthy served on the'Coast of Syria in 1840 (Medal with Clasp)
15 Captain It. J. H. L. Mackenzie served in the Soudan campaign in 1885, and was presentin the engagement at
Hasheen (Medal with Clasp, and Khedive's Star). Served with the Zhob Field Force in 1890 under Sir George
