Independence-arare quality
in these times.
Not many brands of scotch whisky can boast
a continuity and richness of character
achieved through the dedicated control of
one family. Highland Queen can, because
it is produced by Macdonald & Muir, one
of the few independent family-controlled
firms of whisky distillers left: in Scotland.
Blended in the traditional way, the process
demands “marrying” the whiskies in
oak casks at arinking strength before
bottling - a rare operation in these
days of mass production.
