CAIRDS
The first one hundred years have indeed been fruitful and
exciting. We have grown steadily and have achieved much
during that time.
So now here in Oban we promise that our service will
continue, our quality and value will reflect our pride in our
area, and by doing just that, say a heartfelt thank you to all
who have been patrons of Cairds in these short one hundred
years.
You are cordially invited to visit our premises at the
Esplanade Oban where you’ll find an outstanding range of
menswearand ladies fashions, and of particular interest to
Mod visitors—the excellent range of Blouses, Kilts and
Tartan Evening Skirts all picked for quality and top value
for money.

DescriptionA collection of over 400 items published by An Comunn Gàidhealach, the organisation which promotes Gaelic language and culture and organises the Royal National Mòd. Dating from 1891 up to the present day, the collection includes journals and newspapers, annual reports, educational materials, national Mòd programmes, published Mòd literature and music.
